Early Intervention

Lincoln's early intervention approaches are integrated across all of our services. From our services for children ages 0-5, to our most intensive programs, we are committed to identifying ways to intervene early, reducing the likelihood of children moving to higher levels of service.

Our school-based mental health programs, wrap-around services, school engagement, and alternative middle school support services focus on stabilizing children and youth in their schools and communities, focusing on how to stabilize the child and family before more intensive services are needed.

Outcomes:

  • Schools served by Lincoln's HOPE (Helping Open Pathways to Education) program (school-based services) increased API scores by 29 points on average
  • 82% Children and youth served in Lincoln's Project Permanence (Wrap-around) program were stable in a family six months after discharge from the program
